If you are interested in adopting one of our retired greyhounds you will firstly need to complete our online Adoption Application. The application gives us an idea of your lifestyle and the accommodations for the Greyhound. This helps us in making a perfect match between your family and your new perspective family member.
Once the Adoption Application is processed and you are approved, we will contact you to arrange a suitable time to meet our greyhounds at our kennels. This allows you to meet the Greyhounds and spend time with the dogs who are compatible with your lifestyle and family. Be sure to bring along ALL family members (including children and dogs) who will be interacting with the Greyhound.
If you meet the Greyhound you would like to join your household, then arrangements will be made for you to take home your new family member within the week. If you do not meet a suitable dog, you will be placed on a waiting list until the right Greyhound arrives. Preference for a certain colour or characteristic may take longer.
